language for the congress, all lectures, presentations, workshops and seminars will be held in English only. No translation will be available.
Throughout Egypt, days are commonly warm or hot, and nights are cool. Egypt has only two seasons: a mild winter from November to April and a hot summer from May to October. The only differences between the seasons are variations in daytime temperatures and changes in prevailing winds. In the coastal regions, temperatures range between an average minimum of 14° C in winter and an average maximum of 30° C in summer.

Egyptian Pound (EGP) is the official currency in Egypt. Foreign currency exchange is available in most of the hotels, banks and currency exchange offices. Exchange rate of US$ 1.00 = 16 EGP Exchange rate of €1.00 = 16.25 EGP
It is strongly recommended that participants take out insurance to cover loss incurred in case of cancellation, medical expenses and damage to or loss of personal effects. The organizers of AlexORL2016 Congress will not be responsible for any medical costs incurred by participants. The organizing committee will not accept liability for personal injuries or for loss or damage to property belonging to conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference or during any tours.
The 33rd combined Otolaryngology conference is targeted to practicing otolaryngologists - head and neck surgeons and associates, researchers in Otolaryngology, senior academic professors and department chairs, leaders of international societies, fellows-in-training, residents, and allied health professionals.
Conference nametags are required for admittance to all events, including coffee break and conference lunch. Nametags should be worn and visible at all times. Lost nametags should be reported to the registration staff immediately and a 50 EGP fee will be charged to print a replacement badge.
Corporate Symposia provide attendees with information on specific areas of Otolaryngology. Program content and/or product information are the sole responsibility of the corporate supporter. We do not award continuing education credit for Corporate Symposia.
Electronic Devices and Recording Equipment
All cell phones and video cameras must be turned off during sessions. Recording of any kind is prohibited at all education activities, events, and the Exhibition area
Speaker Ready Room
Speakers are required to visit the Speaker Ready Room at least 4 hours before their presentation.
